Generate your first month of content

Go from a blank calendar to a full month of on-brand posts in about a minute.

  1. 1 Open the /try wizard (no account needed) or head to Calendar inside the app.
  2. 2 Spend 60 seconds on the brief — industry, audience, goals, channels and brand voice.
  3. 3 SocialCTL drafts 8–12 calendar slots with titles, hooks, captions and hashtags.
  4. 4 Review the month on the board and re-roll any day you want to change (1 credit).
  5. 5 Click Generate on a slot to produce the finished reel, carousel or static post.

Make an AI reel

Render a real MP4 reel — scenes, motion, music and voice-over — not a slideshow.

  1. 1 Pick a reel slot on the calendar, or start fresh from the Generate studio.
  2. 2 Describe the reel — or let the calendar strategy write the brief for you.
  3. 3 SocialCTL plans the scenes, generates AI b-roll, and adds an AI voice-over.
  4. 4 Remotion renders an aspect-correct MP4 for Reels, Shorts or TikTok.
  5. 5 Open the timeline editor to trim, reorder, swap clips, or change the music.

Connect your accounts & schedule

Link Instagram, LinkedIn and more, then queue posts to publish automatically.

  1. 1 Go to Accounts (/app/accounts) and connect Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, Pinterest or Discord.
  2. 2 Open any approved piece and pick the platforms you want to publish to.
  3. 3 Set a date and time, or use a weekly posting preset to auto-fill the slots.
  4. 4 The schedule fans out one queued post per platform and account.
  5. 5 Track everything from the Publishing page — queued, published, or failed with auto-retries.

Set up your brand kit

Lock in your colours, voice and logo so every generation looks consistently you.

  1. 1 Open Brand from the workspace and add your name, tagline and industry.
  2. 2 Pick your brand colours, voice and audience — or let "Generate with AI" fill them.
  3. 3 Upload a logo, or generate three logo concepts and choose your favourite.
  4. 4 List products, keywords to favour and terms to avoid for tighter on-brand output.
  5. 5 Every AI call now leads with your brand kit, so the first draft already looks like you.

Use the brand brain

Upload your real business docs so the AI writes about your brand, not generic guesses.

  1. 1 Go to Settings → Brand knowledge and upload .txt, .md, .csv or .pdf files.
  2. 2 Add product sheets, pricing, FAQs, your story and your tone of voice.
  3. 3 SocialCTL extracts the text and compiles it into one "brand brain" context block.
  4. 4 Click Update brand brain whenever you add or remove files.
  5. 5 Every calendar, caption, carousel and reel is now grounded in your real business.

Create a video in the AI Video Studio

Chat your way to a real MP4 clip — pick a model, describe the shot, generate.

  1. 1 Open Generate (/app/studio/video) — this is the page with the model picker.
  2. 2 Pick a model. Each shows what it is good at and what it costs, so check the price on the button before you commit.
  3. 3 Choose the mode: text-to-video, image-to-video (animate a still), or video-to-video (restyle a clip).
  4. 4 Describe the shot — subject, motion, mood and length.
  5. 5 Generate, then preview the real MP4 that comes back.
  6. 6 Keep it as a standalone post, add it to your calendar, or drop it onto a reel in the timeline editor.

Make a whole video from one topic

Researched, scripted, voiced and captioned — you describe the subject, it does the rest.

  1. 1 Open Create a video (/app/studio/create).
  2. 2 Type the topic you want the video to be about, in your own words.
  3. 3 Pick a length. The price is shown next to it and rises with length, because longer means more scenes.
  4. 4 Press Create with AI and leave it — it keeps running while you do something else.
  5. 5 It lands in Caption Studio when it is done, ready to review, caption and schedule.

Edit a reel on the timeline

Fine-tune the video, voice-over, music and text tracks — with safe-zone guides.

  1. 1 Open any reel in the timeline editor — video, voice-over, music and text each get their own track.
  2. 2 Pick one of the 5 template families for a consistent look, then trim, reorder or swap clips.
  3. 3 Record a voice-over in the browser, upload your own audio, or generate an AI voice.
  4. 4 Watch the on-screen safe zones so captions and stickers never sit under the platform UI.
  5. 5 Render an aspect-correct MP4 ready for Reels, Shorts or TikTok.

Manage multiple brands with workspaces

Add a brand, switch between them, and keep every brand kit fully isolated.

  1. 1 Create a workspace for each brand you manage — one workspace, one brand.
  2. 2 Fill in that workspace's own brand kit: colours, voice, logo and products.
  3. 3 Switch brands from the workspace switcher — calendars and content never mix.
  4. 4 Every generation uses only the active workspace's brand kit, so voices stay separate.
  5. 5 Credits are pooled at the account level, so all workspaces draw from one shared balance.

Turn WooCommerce products into posts

Sync your store, then generate on-brand posts straight from your catalog.

  1. 1 Open the product studio (/app/products) and install the WooCommerce connector.
  2. 2 Run a sync to pull your store products — titles, images and prices — into SocialCTL.
  3. 3 Pick a product and generate a post, carousel or reel built from its real details.
  4. 4 Re-sync whenever your catalog changes so content always reflects live products.
  5. 5 Send the generated pieces to review or straight to the schedule.

Publish to all 8 networks

Connect your channels once, then let the auto-publish queue do the posting.

  1. 1 Go to Accounts (/app/accounts) and connect Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, Pinterest and Discord.
  2. 2 Open an approved piece and choose which of the connected networks to post to.
  3. 3 Schedule a time — one queued post is created per network and account.
  4. 4 The auto-publish cron sends each post at its time and retries on transient failures.
  5. 5 Watch queued, published and failed states on the Publishing page and requeue if needed.

Drive SocialCTL from Claude with MCP

Compose, publish and edit your brand kit through natural language in Claude.

  1. 1 Add the SocialCTL MCP server to your Claude client and authenticate it to your account.
  2. 2 Ask Claude to draft or compose posts — it writes on-brand copy through the MCP tools.
  3. 3 Have Claude schedule or publish pieces to your connected networks.
  4. 4 Update your brand kit or work with the content calendar, all in plain language.
  5. 5 Claude operates your workspace on your behalf — no dashboard clicks required.
